4) And perhaps the most important thing, from what the research tells us, is a principal needs to concentrate their time on improving instruction in the classroom, because that's the thing that makes the most difference for the kids.
What an amazing report. I'm with Renee in the fact that having both great instructors as well as a leadership coach to guide and mentor in those first few years would be beneficial. Having that support could be a key element for success as a new principal.

Great resource. I especially liked the leadership coach as a new school leader. I would love to have a coach in my first year or two.
