I am also wondering if there are some practical applications to apply this knowledge - scenarios to take the knowledge deeper by applying with other examples, maybe even using multiple types of data.
Good Question Kassie! Yes...the SGP's will be disaggregated by subgroups and will be weighted heavily in the new School Accountability Index. However, It's only one data point that provides another way to examine the summative annual MSP/HSPE/EOC test. SGP's can be applied to other tests like MAP. This is want Seattle School District is currently doing that has been publish in the news recently.
